A techie at heart, I enjoy my day job as a Technical Consultant / Software Developer. The interest spills into my spare time, with hours spent blogging and writing apps; occasionally to my girlfriend’s dismay.
I love the piano. She does too; making it a more agreeable pastime. Inspired by Ludovico Einaudi, I’m currently making my way through Islands, and In a Time Lapse. My sight reading is still poor, but has improved over time. Regular practise certainly helps. 29 and counting. That’s how many countries I have visited so far. I’m tracking my progress on a travel map. There is something very appealing about exploring new environments, and immersing oneself in different cultures. We are currently planning a round-the-world trip. The photography comes rather naturally with the travelling. Over time, I have come to appreciate the excitement that life can add to a photo. I currently have a growing collection of photos, that I’m struggling to manage. |
