The real 24/7 Hosting reviews

I am not one to usually complain but 24/7 Hosting (247hosting.co.nz) is so abysmal, and bordering scam like, that I feel obliged to inform anyone who is considering their services. Their web hosting service is good and reasonably priced but that’s where the good points about these guys end. Support turnaround time was over a day for a business that claims to provide 24/7 support.

When I ordered a Linux VPS plan from them, they failed to setup my account even after a week; without any communications or explanations whatsoever. I eventually cancelled my account with them after my queries went unanswered. I received an email from them claiming to have refunded my hosting fee directly onto my credit card but the money never showed. Questions sent via their support system got escalated but then were mysteriously closed without any answers. Just the other day, I received a new invoice trying to charge me for yet another month of the Linux VPS plan that I cancelled almost two weeks prior.

The 24/7 Hosting Reviews (247hosting-reviews.co.nz) site is heavily moderated, and users are paid for the reviews that appear on the site. My non-positive review has, and will probably never appear on the site.

24/7 Hosting is owned by KLiB Technologies Group. They claim to host some big name businesses in New Zealand. However, trust is non-existent for me at this point. It may well be a case where they don’t care as much about their smaller clients, and my experience was an odd case. Either way, I’m one unhappy customer. Hopefully, anyone reading this doesn’t end up in my situation. I’ll keep this updated if anything changes.
